Featuring a world-class AANA and ISAKOS faculty made up of renowned arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgeons, this unique course is a global education opportunity like none other. Included in the course are two days of two-on-one hands-on cadaver labs along with access to lectures and instruction in both English and Spanish. At the completion of this course the participant should be able to:
- Understand current controversies and recommended treatments for knee injuries including the appropriate indications for surgery and employ the latest techniques for surgical repair and reconstruction
- Accurately identify the most important shoulder pathologies, understand the appropriate indications for surgery and employ the latest techniques for surgical repair and reconstruction
- Familiarize with ultrasonic evaluation of knee and shoulder anatomy and patho-anatomy and the use of ultrasonography as an aid for needle placement in and around these joints
