Comments: While prayerful, my husband and I attended our son’s appointment with Dr. Bonner with a great deal of concern. Sadly, we received the diagnosis of OCD of the knee. Dr. Bonner was very giving of his time and expertise. With care, he allowed us to accept the past incomplete or misdiagnosis (from other professionals) and straightforwardly answered our questions. Dr. Bonner reassuringly put a hand on my son’s shoulder, (a 16-year-old athlete in the height of the AAU season facing a serious condition), solicited his questions, and responded with confidence and empathy. Dr. Bonner stated this was a process but he would help us through it. Tough news; good treatment.
